Acerca de FDP Radio

Fútbol De Primera Radio, the nation’s leading Hispanic Soccer Radio Network, opening its doors in August 1989, Fútbol De Primera’s programming and soccer game specials have become an integral part of the nation’s soccer landscape.  FDP  is based in Miami-Fl; with offices in New York- NY; San Francisco- CA and San Antonio- TX, is the home of the most important exclusive soccer radio rights in the country, including the upcoming 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cup(TM).

With decades of experience in soccer broadcasting, Fútbol De Primera realized there was a need for soccer to be listened to on a substantial market list of stations that match the quality of the games themselves.  In a historic move, Fútbol De Primera Radio worked with its affiliates to broaden the landscape beyond AM and talk radio to put soccer on the FM dial music formatted stations as soccer specials.  The strategy worked and powerhouse matches over the years have been heard nationally without fail.  The best soccer included the Japan & Korea 2002, Germany 2006, South Africa 2010 & Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cups, the Mexican National Team, CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers, and a record eight consecutive CONCACAF Gold Cup/Copa Oro tournament.

Now listeners of 115 FDP affiliated stations have the ability to enjoy the best matches while at work, play and within their daily commutes with the ease of turning on their radio.

For 2015 Fútbol De Primera is gearing up for even more great soccer, with the exclusive live broadcast of the  Chile 2015 edition of Copa America, where  is expected to include Mexico and all 10 South American nations.  The 10 South American teams would be Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.  Mexico will be playing as a CONCACAF guest team.  Also in 2015 a few days after Copa America concludes, Futbol de Primera it’s back to the USA for more additional summer sizzle, with CONCACAF, exclusive broadcast of the upcoming 2015 Gold Cup/Copa Oro tournament.

Furthermore for  2016 Fútbol De Primera will also holds exclusive coverage of the 2016 Copa America “Centenario” — a 100th anniversary special edition of the historic South American tournament — this most expected tournament will be held in the United States live on the affiliates of  Fútbol De Primera.

Fútbol de Primera’s Daily Show hosted by Emmy award-winning broadcaster Andres Cantor has been on the air since 1989 and is the longest-running, nationally syndicated Spanish-language radio program in the country.  Fútbol de Primera Production produces and syndicates Award winner/ author and Univision Senior Special Correspondent Maria Antonieta Collins’ radio show “Casos y Cosas de Collins.
